REDUCE your household bills by almost £15,000 with a move to a new home near Swansea.
The savings can be achieved through a combination of an incentive equivalent to having your mortgage paid for a year, up to £12,000, plus the lower energy bills afforded by the energy efficiency of a new build house.
The deal is available on selected Edenstone Group homes at Parc Ceirw Garden Village in Morriston for a limited time only. Crucially all of the homes there achieve a minimum EPC rating of B+, making them some of the most efficient on the market.
Sales director Adele McCoy said: “We’re offering a real lifeline to people looking for a new home near Swansea that could save them thousands of pounds. The mortgage paid for a year alone is worth up to £12,000. When you factor in the energy efficiency of a new house compared with an older one, there’s the potential to reduce energy bills by around £2,600 based on HBF research. The combined savings amount to almost £15,000. Buyers could use the money to furnish their new home, rather than making do with their existing furniture or perhaps splash out on a dream family holiday to Disneyland.”
As an alternative to the mortgage paid for a year deal, there’s the opportunity to have the land transaction tax and legal fees paid, helping reduce to the cost of buying a new home.
Among the properties available with the choice of money saving deals is the four-bedroom Andover on the Bluebell Homes phase of Parc Ceirw Garden Village.
Priced from £330,000, it’s a cleverly designed home, offering three floors of generous living space.
The crowning glory of the Andover is the light-filled top floor bedroom, with en-suite and storage, featuring atrium-style gable windows.
At ground level it has a spacious kitchen/dining room overlooking the rear garden, with a cloakroom and formal lounge in the front of the home. Three further bedrooms and a family bathroom are on the first floor, with the second bedroom featuring a Juliet balcony.
Parc Ceirw Garden Village will eventually comprise 300 new homes, including designs from the Edenstone Group’s two housing brands Edenstone Homes and Bluebell Homes.
Between the two brands there’s a good choice of two, three and four-bedroom properties available. Current prices start from £157,500 for a two-bedroom home through shared ownership, with open market prices from £250,000 for a three-bedroom property.
The new community will also feature a host of facilities to enable residents to enjoy a healthier way of living including an equipped, circular outdoor fitness trail and a gym within a community hub.
The sales office and show homes at Parc Ceirw Garden Village are open daily from 10.30am to 5pm.
